Saturday February 7, 2009 from 7:30pm - 11:30pm
St. Paul's Scullion Hall
925 E. State St.
Salem, OH, Ohio 44460
Got the winter blues? Tired of being a couch potato? Looking for a good time? Well then, grab a friend or loved one and put on your dancing shoes! This casual adult dance is a fundraiser to benefit the SCT Youth Chorus. Request a favorite tune from the DJ. There will be basket raffles featuring a variety of donated items/services, a verbal auction and a 50/50 drawing. The auction and drawings will be held just after 9 p.m.. Feel free to BYOB and snacks. Tickets are $10.00 and can be obtained at the Salem Community Theatre, from any parent of a Chorus member, or at the door the night of the dance. Contact Callie Sowards at 330-424-9842 for tickets, information or if you’d like to donate an item for the basket raffle or to be auctioned off.
The Salem Youth Chorus was founded in 2007 to give teens the opportunity to sing great sacred choral music. Since its inception, the Youth Chorus has performed throughout the area, in Williamsburg, VA and the Washington National Cathedral. They have also released two CDs, “Morning Has Broken” and “Evening Reflections”.
All proceeds from the dance/auction will benefit the Youth Chorus in their future travel performances. For tax deductions, we will provide you with The Salem Community Theatre's tax exempt number.
Thanks in advance for your support !
